Visiting the temple is the first priority activity you can consider on the day after you arrived. Selecting temples is quite challenging as there are a dozen temples in the area while all of them are good and unique. Since you come with family, kids or the elderly cannot walk all day under the sun in a huge temple.
we would like to recommend a few which we think might provide fun and easy to access for a family member. Start from Angkor Wat, this temple is huge but we can just see it in part by part, Banteay Srie, the most beautiful caving which cannot be skipped and the last one are Ta Prum which you will be a huge tree root on the top of the temple. Remember that, kids can get bored by history, but you can show them a souvenir which can take their interest and stay calm all the time.
Visit the place where you can learn how silk is made, there is a huge workshop that focuses on producing silk, and it is according to a real Cambodian traditional silk which has a history of 1000 years. This place can provide a piece of knowledge to you or your kid on how the silk is made and you can see it with your own eyes. This place is unique where you can see the whole producing process, see how the silkworm is raised, what kind of food do they eat and how we can get silk from them. Enjoy the whole process and buy some products home.
